Olympia Celebrates National Bike to Work Day
Leave your car at home and join fellow bicyclists on your morning commute on Friday, May 21, for National Bike to Work Day 2010!
Swing by one of three Bike Stops and pick up:
- Fuel for your bike…bananas and sports bars
- Coupon booklet with discounts to local bike shops
- Reflective gear and bicycle resources
- AND…enter Intercity Transit’s Bicycle Commuter Contest – register in April, ride in May – show proof of registration at a Bike Stop and receive a free gift! (Proof of registration includes your mileage log, 2010 BCC t-shirt, or sticker.)
Visit a Bike Stop at the following locations from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.:
- Heritage Park on 5th Avenue, next to Capitol Lake
- Olympia Woodland Trail on Eastside Street at Wheeler Avenue
- Ralph’s Thriftway at 1908 4th Avenue E
