Close to 100 businesses applied for a Thurston Green designation this year and the community celebrated them at the Thurston County Chamber’s April Forum on Thursday, April 22 at on the virtual platform REMO. The virtual event included a keynote address by Shina Wysocki, an owner of Chelsea Farms Oyster Bar and Vice President of Chelsea Farms.

In addition to honoring all of this year’s businesses who received the Thurston Green Designation (the complete list is located at ThurstonGreenBusiness.com) the committee honored the following organizations for their outstanding sustainability efforts.
Small Business of the Year – Seattle Children’s Bargain Boutique
Medium Business of the Year – Skyline Construction NW
Large Business of the Year – Saint Martin’s University
Municipality of the Year – City of Olympia Congratulations!
