Puget Sound Energy&#8217;s voluntary Green Power Program makes  it easy for you to buy renewable energy equal to the amount of  electricity you use. <!--more-->When you choose Green Power, you\u2019ll support  independent <a title=\"Green Power program resources\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pse.com\/energyEnvironment\/renewableenergy4\/pages\/greenPowerResources.aspx?tab=1&amp;chapter=3\">renewable  energy projects<\/a> \u2013 including wind, solar and biomass \u2013 located right  here in the Pacific Northwest.<\/p>\n<p>This program provides a way for you to join together with your  neighbors to secure a clean, healthy, local energy supply now and for  the future. Participating homes and <a title=\"Green Power program  leadership partners\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pse.com\/energyEnvironment\/renewableenergy4\/Pages\/greenPowerLeaders.aspx\">Green  Power business partners<\/a> purchased nearly 300 million kilowatt hours  of renewable energy in the past year, enough electricity to power about  25,000 homes.
